Mam says this stool is too posh for me to sit on. So here I am sitting on it and pushing my luck by having a wash and brush up. Such fun being defiant!
A big thank you to the Pledge a Pound team for their Christmas present to the bunnies.
A big thank you to all the Brownies at the 7th Darlington (Elm Ridge Methodist) Pack for their lovely cards and kind donation to Bunny Burrows.
While some of the bunnies were having their photos taken for updated sponsorship profiles (coming soon), Fliss decided she wanted in on the action. And as usual pulled the perfect pose!
That moment when you are trying to get your bunnies to sit still while you take a picture… and one of them leaps in the air at the last second! This is Hans and Gretel (well, Gretel’s feet) when we tried taking some pics to update the website.
After being awarded the British Empire Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours, Gwen was recently presented with her medal at a ceremony in North Yorkshire.
A couple more pics of Fritz and Gigi playing in the garden. Since the new enclosure has been built for the wild bunnies they have started sitting and talking to them through the wire. Previous to this they used to sit at the other side of the garden under the bushes. The wild bunnies don’t seem to mind much, but getting a photo of them all together is impossible!
Gwen has been nursing 7 baby rabbits which were recently brought in to Bunny Burrows. They have started eating independently but Gwen is still feeding them milk regularly to make sure they keep their strength up.
And as you can imagine, she is having to check visitors pockets as they leave because they are sooo cute!
Fritz has been out in the garden enjoying the summer, and has made one or two friends!
Meanwhile, in the house, Gretel has been helping Gwen get items ready to sell on Ebay
It is only a few months since the Wildies Enclosure was built, and it has been extended already!
The extension is currently used as a separate run for a different group of wild bunnies, with a removable panel in between if the 6 of them decide they are all going to get on together.
A big thank you once again to Dave for his handy work!
