Fundraising @ Pets at Home
On Saturday the Bunny Burrows fundraisers were out at Pets at Home in Northallerton. Many thanks to the wonderful staff there for their support!
Baby Leverets
We recently took in 2 orphaned leverets (baby hares) who were about 1 week old when they first came to us. Both have needed hand feeding several times a day but are doing really well. This is the first time Bunny Burrows has taken in hares.
We have a winner!

A big thank you to Paul and Lynne Arnold
A big thank you to Paul and Lynne Arnold, who are walking St Cuthbert’s Way at the end of March and have made Bunny Burrows one of their 2 charities to benefit from the money they raise. In Paul’s words:
We are the directors of Fangdale Financial Ltd. and we advise clients on their investment and pension needs. We mainly deal with our existing clients but we do take on new clients. Our biggest enemy is time therefore it is harder to give time to something than money. We are giving up one of our holiday time this year to walk the St. Cuthbert’s way, 67.5 miles from Melrose Abbey to Lindesfarne Castle. We have booked all the hotels and the Sherpa van service ourselves and this will be at our expense. We would like to raise at least £1000 for the two charities we have chosen, these are Redcar and Cleveland Mind who are supporting the redundant SSI steelworkers and also Bunny Burrows in Richmond who rehome small animals and are self funded.
Lynne and I are also members of St. Lukes church in Ferryhill where we play music from time to time, we also help Burnhill way Methodist church with their worship and we are members of Northern Voices a mixed voice choir based in Darlington. Paul has lost over 4 stone with Slimming World in Darlington and we can be found in Lifestyle Fitness gym in Newton Aycliffe leisure centre between 6.30am and 8.30am most mornings through the week.
As you can see from this we are very busy people so to give of our time is hard work
A Message from Gwen
A message from Gwen:
It doesn’t seem five minutes since Christmas and here I am writing an Easter update!
First off, I need to say a very big thank you for the generous donations sent at Christmas time.
It is so very kind and such a great help towards the ever increasing Vet’s bills. I find it so rewarding to realise how many good people are around who support Bunny Burrows. Also, may I say a huge thank you for the amazing continual stream of items for me to sell on E-Bay. I thoroughly enjoy making money for the Charity sat at home, warm, cosy and comfortable, researching, selling and watching the money building up in the Pay Pal account! I never would have believed it possible to sell the vast array of goods we send all over the world. Please keep them coming, especially when you start spring cleaning.
