You may remember we told you about 9 baby wild rabbits that came to Bunny Burrows a few weeks ago?  Well the good news is 6 of them have survived and are doing really well.  Here’s a few pics of them.  They are mega cute!

Last week Bunny Burrows took in a very sorry bunny who we have since called Hans.  He was taken to a vets in North Yorkshire after someone found him wondering.  The vets contacted Bunny Burrows who agreed to take him in.  When he arrived he couldn’t hold his head straight and had puss seeping from a wound in the back of his head which the vet hadn’t noticed!  And the smell from it was unbelievable!

Gwen took him to see Auntie Trudi the vet who operated to clean up the wound.  He is now well on the road to recovery and is a lot happy since the operation.

He has got his feet well under the table and has become a house rabbit at Bunny Burrows!

 Here’s a pic of 9 baby bunnies taken yesterday (Tues 10th May).  They are about a week old and were rescued from the A1 roadworks.

Bunny Burrows has taken in approx. 30 bunnies and hares from the A1 roadworks since the work began.

On Saturday the Bunny Burrows fundraisers were out at Pets at Home in Northallerton.  Many thanks to the wonderful staff there for their support!

We recently took in 2 orphaned leverets (baby hares) who were about 1 week old when they first came to us.  Both have needed hand feeding several times a day but are doing really well.  This is the first time Bunny Burrows has taken in hares.

Congratulations to the winner of our giant teddy bear, with one of his guinea pigs that also came from Bunny Burrows!
